Job Description:
Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients both new and existing, while working together to make data-driven management decisions. Conduct and assist with on-farm trials and research, summarize and analyze data, create maps based on collected data, provide seed and fertilizer recommendations based on analysis results, stay current on the latest ag technology, promote company products and services, such as GPS, Autosteer, variable rate controls (VRA equipment), UAVs, etc.
Job Requirements:
2+ years agronomy experience -- sales or scouting
Knowledge and experience in safe operation of farm equipment/machinery
Ability to safely operate large farm equipment
Mechanical knowledge/background
Strong computer skills and knowledge of current technology
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Good troubleshooting skills
Positive and outgoing communication skills
Highly motivated, fast learner
Work well independently with limited supervision
Preferred Candidates:
Working knowledge of Precision Ag Hardware including Ag Leader, John Deere, Trimble, etc.
Experience with GIS mapping software including Ag Leader SMS, John Deere Apex, SST, Farmworks, Pix4D, GlobalMapper, etc.
3+ years experience as a trusted agronomy advisor
Ag fertilizer/chemical retail experience
Ag crop scouting experience

This candidate should love meeting new people.
Job Requirements:
· Must have prior agricultural experience.
· Must be able to safely operate farm machinery.
· Work to represent our company with integrity while providing excellent customer service.

· Work with the customer to create a solution package that is in their best interests
· Address issues or concerns from customers
· Conduct on-farm one on one trainings with customers on the equipment
· Must be well spoken and thorough
· Valid drivers license with clean driving record

· Must love to meet new people
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
· Some travel required but not frequent
Preferred Candidates:
· 3+ years demonstrated territory sales experience in ag
· This person would have a personal connection or passion for technology
· Working knowledge of precision ag hardware including Ag Leader, John Deere, Trimble, etc.
· Previous mechanical experience on agricultural equipment a plus
